Apple has removed 14 dangerous apps from its App Store. These apps were at risk of fraud to iPhone users. A few weeks ago, Google also removed 17 such apps from Play Store. Apple has taken this decision keeping in mind the increasing fraud and financial stability. People were asked to invest through these fake cryptos, after which their bank account was dent.

Instructions to remove apps

The South Korean government had directed to remove these apps. South Korea Financial Service Commission (FSC) has taken legal action on a total of 22 crypto platforms, including 17 Foreign Crypto Exchange. The government says that these apps were available at Google and Apple App Store without any legal license. Last month, Google removed the 17 crypto exchange apps from the Play Store last month. At the same time, Apple has removed 14 of these apps.

There are already ban in India

The Korean Financial Commission (FSC) says that marketing events were organized through these platforms to attract people to invest. These apps have also been banned in India before Korea. These apps include binance, kucoin, huobi, kraken, gate.io, bitstamp, mexc global, bittrex and bitfinex etc. These apps are not available on Google and Apple App Store in India.

Personal information is in danger of leaking

The FSC had said in its order that through these apps, the personal information of investors was leaked as well as the drowning of the money invested by the people. Apart from this, these apps did not get anti -money laundering management and supervision, due to which there was also a possibility of money laundering in the country.

Regulatory instructions were given to Google and Apple by the South Korean government. 14 foreign apps, including installed Kucoin in Apple iPhone, were now removed from the app store. Apart from Kucoin, apps like Mexc, Phemex, Bittrue, Bitgloba, Coinw and Coinex are included. Google has also removed these apps from the Play Store. According to the FSC order, these crypto businesses did not have the government’s protection, due to which the investors were expected to sink the money.
