Angel One shares gain 2% following Q3 business update


Angel One shares soared 2 per cent in early trade on reporting its December and Q3FY26 business updates. The stock traded flat on the NSE at ₹2,450.90 at 10.57 am, hitting a high of ₹2,517.40 against the previous close of ₹2,470.60.

The broking firm recorded gross client acquisition of 0.68 million in December 2025, an increase of 12.8 per cent y-o-y and 35-3 per cent from the previous month.

For the December quarter, the gross client acquisition increased to 1.75 million, up 0.5 per cent sequentially, 16.3 per cent lower on y-o-y basis. It posted that its client base increased 21 per cent y-o-y to 35.71 million in December 2025. It staged a m-o-m increase of 1.8 per cent.

The total orders in Q3FY26 stood at 380.07 million, up 5.4 per cent q-o-q, but falling 9.9 per cent on y-o-y basis. In December 2025, the orders increased by 10 per cent from November and 8 per cent from previous year to 129.10 million.

Market share

Its retail turnover market share stood at 20.4 per cent in December 2025, increased by 12 bps from the previous month and 62 bps from the previous year. On a quarterly basis, its market share declined by 4 bps sequentially but increased 91 bps from last year.

The F&O market share was at 22 per cent in December, up 51 bps from the previous month and by 39 bps in the year-ago period.

Its cash turnover market share of 17.9 per cent in December declined by 39 bps from November 2025, but zoomed by 56 bps from the year-ago period. In the Q3FY26, it declined by 37 bps to 18.3 per cent, but, increased by 91 bps y-o-y.

The company’s board will meet on January 15, 2026, to consider stock split and dividend payout.
