Qualcomm is preparing to launch the world’s fastest mobile processor. This processor of Qualcomm will be the first chip with 2Nm technology. Apart from Qualcomm, Apple is also preparing for its 2Nm chip. Apple chip can also be used in the upcoming iPhone 18 series. At the same time, this 2Nm chip of Qualcomm can also be launched next year. Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip last year, used in almost all the flagship Android smartphones launched this year.

Will be launched in 2026

The Chinese Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has claimed on the microblogging platform Weibo that this chip can be launched in 2026. The company is working on two chips SM8950 and SM8945 with 2Nm node. Of these, SM8950 can be offered as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and SM8945 as Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 3. Both these processors will be more powerful than the current Snapdragon 8 Elite. This processor works on 3Nm processing technology.

For Qualcomm, this chip will be based on TSMC ie Taiwan Chip Manufacturing Company’s architecture. Samsung has partnered for fabrication with TSMC for this chip. These processors can be used in the flagship smartphone launched in 2026. These processors can be quite fast and in the phone doing multi -tasking in the phone, it will be much faster than the existing processor. This 2Nm processor can be used in many flagship smartphones of brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Realme, Xiaomi launched in 2026-27.

According to WCCFTECH report, Apple is also working on 2Nm chip. This processor can be used in the iPhone 18 series. It will be introduced as Apple A20 Bionic. For this, the Cupertino based company has also partnered with TSMC.
