Jio, Airtel and VI have started a new service for their millions of users. Telecom companies have uploaded their network coverage maps on their respective websites.

Let us tell you that some time ago, telecom companies were instructed to show network coverage maps on the website by the Telecom Communications Regulatory Authority of India. The purpose of this TRAI instructions was that mobile users could know where the company’s wireless and broadband services are available.

TRAI gave instructions

According to the report of Telecom Talk, telecom companies were asked to give instructions from TRAI that information about mobile network coverage is quite important from the point of view of Quality of Service. With the help of network coverage maps, users will be able to make a better decision while taking service. Following this TRAI instructions, now network coverage maps have been made live by Jio, Airtel and VI.

Network coverage map of Airtel, Jio and VI is now available in the website footer. Now you can easily check the network service of your service operator in different places. If you are going to buy a new SIM, now you can already check which company’s connectivity is better in your area.

Airtel is offering its customers to check 2G, 4G and 5G connectivity on network coverage maps. If you are using Airtel SIM, then you have to visit Airtel.in/wirelesscoverage/. If you talk about Jio, then the company is offering customers to check 4G+5G, 5G, OR 4G network. Jio users will have to visit jio.com/selfcare/coverage-map/. At the same time, VI users can check the network coverage by visiting myvi.in/vicoverage website.
