Indri’s Diwali Collector’s Edition 2025 Marsala Cask Finish has won Best World Whisky at the Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards 2025, scoring 99.1 points out of 100. This marks one of the highest scores ever awarded to an Indian single malt at the competition.

This is the second time Indri has claimed the Best World Whisky title, following its 2023 win. The limited-edition single malt is produced by Piccadily Distilleries in Indri, Haryana, using six-row Indian barley and finished in Marsala wine casks. Bottled at 60 per cent ABV, the whisky features notes of stewed apricots, cherries, plums, red berries, chocolate and nutmeg.

The award comes during a period of strong growth for the brand. According to IWSR data, Indri outsold major Scotch brands including Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, The Singleton and Laphroaig in 2024 to become the fastest growing and largest selling single malt whisky.

The Las Vegas Global Spirits Awards uses blind tastings judged by industry experts including distillers, buyers, bartenders and educators. Entries are scored on a 100-point system evaluating appearance, aroma, palate, balance and finish.

The Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition is scheduled to launch in India before Diwali.

The shares of Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the parent company of Indri, ended on the NSE at ₹688, up by ₹12.85 or 1.90 per cent.
