A big update has come to light about Vodafone Idea’s 5G service. The 5G service trial has started by VI. VI has chosen the country’s financial capital Mumbai for its 5G trial. The company has started its 5G trial in Mumbai which has given great relief to crores of customers of the company.
After the VI 5G Trial, the hope has increased significantly that the company may soon roll it out. Some reports are also revealing that the company can launch it around 14 March. During the trial phase, some selected users of VI will get 5G service without any extra charge.
These users will join the trial
The VI users who have received SMS from VI care or on whose device are doing 5G signal shows are eligible for it. To use VI 5G network, users must have a 5G supported smartphone and 5G SIM card. If users go out of the 5G network, the automatically will switch to the network 4G.
Let us tell you that VI, the third largest telecom company in the country, has more than 200 million users. If VI rolls out 5G service in the next few days, it will become the third company to provide 5G service after Reliance Jio and Airtel. This step of VI is going to increase the tension of Jio and Airtel.
Commercial service will start in these cities
The company will launch its commercial 5G service in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and Patna in April 2025.
