IPhone USB Type C Charger
Without Apple, the dream of iPhone with USB Type C charging port can be fulfilled. This decision taken by Apple to the upcoming iPhone 17 Air can soon get a green signal from EU i.e. European Union. This will be Apple’s first iPhone to come without any charging port. In this, wireless technology will be used to charge the phone. At the same time, cloud data sink will be used to transfer data.
The iPhone 17 Air will come without USB Type C?
A few days ago, the news of not being given USB Type C charging port in Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Air has come out. Two years ago, Apple had to use USB Type C charging port instead of the Tradition Lightning Port due to the pressure of European Union. Now all the devices launched by Apple come with USB Type C charging port.
According to the 9to5MAC report, Apple is about to remove USB Type C charging port from its upcoming iPhone 17 Air. This phone will be completely portless. In the report, the commission press officer of the European Union Federica Mikoli has said that the phone without port will not be against the EU rule. In such a situation, Apple can get a green signal for this soon.
When the European commission was questioned about this, he said that any radio equipment can be recharged even without wired charging. For this, they will not require harmonized i.e. wired charging solution. The commission would like to promote such a wireless charging solution, so that it does not have negative effects on humans and environment in future.
What is EU’s regulation?
EU had directed all mobile phone manufacturing and other gadgets companies that by the end of 2024 all the devices should be the USB Type C charging port compatible. Due to Ris Regulation, Apple had to remove the lightening port used in its iPhone and instead the USB Type C charging port. All the Apple devices launched from 2023 come with a type C charging port.
